If you are unable to connect to the internet, please try the following steps
- Unplug power cord from the modem, then unplug the power cord for the router, wait ten seconds then plug back in power cord to modem and then the power cord for the router.
- Unplug Ethernet cable and then plug back in Ethernet cable. The Ethernet cable looks like a regular telephone cable but it is bigger in size. Look in the back of the modem for “Ethernet” port – one end will be connected to the modem and the other in your personal router/computer.
- Did you have a power outage? Was the account restarted? – Press the reset button on the back of the modem for 5 seconds. When resetting the modem using the reset button at the back of the modem, there is no need to remove the battery.
If the above steps don’t work, please call the Contact Center at 242-601-2200 for further assistance.
